In sociology we have been talking about culture and how they are different all around the world. After watching God Grew Tired Of Us I have learned how many things Americans take for granted. We don't value the things that are most important in life as much as other cultures do. In the movie it showed how fast everything was moving and how you always need to be doing something and in the most off all of that we don't have time to relax of spend time with friends and family. I have definitely realized this recently because I have school and of course going to Stevenson we get hours of homework and then I also have a job so things can become hectic and there's times when I don't get everything done and because of that I get punished. I just feel like we need to slow it down and enjoy that things around us.
