CRASH
This week in class we have been watching the movie crash. Crash is a great example of racial discrimination throughout the entire movie. There are a bunch of different racial groups and it really puts it in perspective how the American society discriminates towards these different groups. We have been talking about different races in class and how people discriminate towards one another. This movie was showing how no matter how hard you try not to judge people you always have stereotypes in the back of your mind. For example in the movie the white cop was always trying so hard not to discriminate against black people but in the end his stereotypes got to him when the black kid was in his car and his clothes were all ripped and he was reaching in his pants to get something but the cop thought it was a gun. He was stereotyping against him when the whole time he was trying so hard not to. This just shows that no matter how hard you try we are always racial profiling.
